SSH

This topic needs a lot of work...

People think that SSH is simply a secure replacement for Telnet. They are very wrong. Sure, it can securely replace Telnet but it can do so much more:

  • Poor Man's VPN via Port Tunneling
  • Execute Commands on remote machines
  • Act as a SOCKS Proxy

Are you trapped behind a corporate firewall and/or proxy? SSH can probably help.
