I have been configuring Linux Based Firewall / Routers for over 6 years.  OpenWRT and a Linksys-Cisco WRT54GL protect my home network.

When tested with SheidsUp at grc.com, a Linksys-Cisco WRT54GL with my configuration will pass the Stealth Test.

Linux based Firewall / Routers I configured have survived break-in tests from a U.S. Government Agency with a 3 letter acronym and attacks from a Communist Country.

Major website update coming soon with Blackberry information and software.

TangoUniform.org is the resource for people wanting to get OpenWRT up and running very quickly.    Getting OpenWRT up and running can be a daunting task.  Even finding the correct hardware when you are ready to begin can be confusing.

After flashing your router with OpenWRT, my software load allows you to automatically configure your router for basic home use in a matter of mintutes and with only a few simple commands to type.  The download will be available very soon for a small fee.

There are numerous other projects available for you to view on my wiki.  For the most part, these are quick projects that feature Java, FreeBSD and Linux.  Please have a look.  The wiki is not editable at this time.

The Linksys-Cisco WRT54GL Wirelss G Router is the ONLY  router currently available from Linksys-Cisco that can be successfully flashed with OpenWRT.  You can order one directly from Amazon.com that is approved by The Mad Hacker and will help support TangoUniform.org by clicking on the picture of the WRT54GL to the right.  You must order using this link if you wish to help support TangoUniform.org.
